Every hosting has its cons and pros.
If you want to pay cheaper then you have to be prepared to get less service for your money, in most cases (either it will be poor customer servise or web service interraption that in a long run affect your visitors and search engines).

I personally prefer to pay little more but to have uninterrupted hosting. When I call customer service they don't put me on hold for a long time and in most cases speak clear and pure english, so I don't need to waist my time to explain too much. This is a great advattage. I use Register.com (once again, they are more expensive than the others). IMO

Have a great day

First gather your requirements. Search providers which suits your requirements. Try to compare different service providers with same configuration.

if you want to change hosting provider , the process must be completed in the proper order.
when your site is 100% functional at the new hosting provider,
DNS records should then be updated.
