Its the best way to inform google all pages of the sites.. but even many sites not indexing after submitting this tooo. SO me suggest do submit but do not trust on it better do proper optimization

As my point of view that as many social posting sites as you can. If your site is good and useful, other people might bookmark it to add more quality to the link but even if they don’t, your site will still be indexed pretty quick.
