Write good articles. Many websites and blogs may cite your article and give your site backlinks. This is a natural way to get links.

Add a wordpress blog to your site and instead of writing articles and submitting them to directories submit them to your own site, providing fresh new contnet - Goolge loves this!
Then add a plugin called xml-sitemaps, once incstalled add it under google webmaster toolbox and when ever you add new content, all the search engines are pinged and the bots crawl your site.

No need to submit to search engines monthly

One member previously posted about the need to submit your site to SE's and re-submit them every month. There's no proof that this helps your SEO in any way. As a matter of fact, it may actually slow down the speed and frequency that your sites gets crawled by bots from Google, Yahoo, etc.
I never, ever, submit any of my client's sites to any search engines, especially Google. A far better method is to provide a link somewhere so a bot (short for robot) from a search engine can follow the link and find your site. Submitting to SE's monthly has no value whatsoever. I've tested it on some of my sites, and never found any evidence that it provided any value. As a matter of fact, one of the new sites that I submitted to Google took twice as long to be crawled and indexed compared to a new site that was not submitted. Let the SE's find your site on their own, but get some links in front of them to "help" them along. For example, open an account in Ezinearticles and submit an article. include a link back to your site in the resource box. Ezine has high PR and gets crawled repeatedly every day. As soon as article goes live on their site, a Googlebot will follow the link in the resource box of your article and find your site.
what are the advance techniques used for seo.

Hello my freind,
In my opinion, if your search engine optimization is vitally important, you may want to consider some of these more advanced SEO techniques:
Theme-Based Sites:
This technique involves creating a separate website that focuses on providing information that is related to the product or service you sell. If you are selling meat you could create a site that explains the details behind all the different cuts of meat– where they come from, what their characteristics are, and so on. Theme-based websites generally rank very well in the search engines because they are keyword rich! The theme-based website can then be used to channel visitors through to your main sales site.
Single Product or Service Sites:
Single product or service sites are websites that focus on a single product or service. This allows you to focus on the keywords and phrases that you want to target for that product or service. You can build a separate website for each of your products and then link between each of the websites (thus increasing your link popularity). This sort of approach can also have benefits for your sales copy, in that it enables you to write copy that is completely focused on the product that you are trying to sell.
Single product or service sites can work well when you have between one and ten major products.
Professional SEO:
In this section we have covered the fundamentals of SEO, which is an extremely dynamic and forever changing ‘science’. There are numerous sub-topics that we could have covered in this section– but SEO is a topic that could fill books.
If SEO is a crucial element of your website promotion strategy then you should seriously consider getting some help from a professional SEO company. SEO companies specialize in this area and are current with everything that is happening in the search engine world.

One of the advanced SEO techniques that most people fail to put into practice on their websites is an internal linking strategy that can be used to improve the way search engine spiders crawl your website, and also away of gaining backlink to each page
