Is blog commenting useful ?

Hi all
I would like to whether blog commenting is useful or not.If it useful how, because I am giving comments to the blogs but I want to knew how that comments will help ..

only if you find dofollow blogs and you leave your keywords in the name box and link back to your website e.g.

Nic,
The best advice is make sure you contribute something of value. Does the blog support your back link to your site? People click on things that they think have value.
Take a minute and watch how you surf. Do you find yourself clicking on people’s links here?
If the person here writes something more than garbage people will click on it.
In the end if someone wants something or likes what you wrote they will click. If they are asleep at the controls they will just pass by what you wrote.

Blog commenting is really helpful if done in the right way, if you post comments on do follow blogs you will get more backlinks and possibly more page rank but if you post nice relevant comments on do follow or no follow you will get more traffic to your site which is the main goal

It is hard. Many blog owners dont allow people to post links.

Most of the blog commenting features are moderated so it's getting more difficult to do blog commenting specially to market you site. More creativity is needed.

Most dofollow blogs are so spammed up that the link doesn't help that much, its a long process to build links entirely through blogs.

Blog commenting, whether it's nofollow or dofollow, is still a good way to drive traffic to a site. It's also an effective method to communicate and build rapport to other bloggers.

blog commenting helps in getting backlinks, in serp too if u use keyword in place of name while commenting, helps in driving traffic, and also helps in communication and building relation with other fellow bloggers.

Yes, if you are doing comments on do follow blog then its useful to your site.

Commenting on related blogs is also a good way of promoting your site, don't just post there but be friendly and comment wisely. its useful, it can help boost your backlink especially if you momment at blogs that are dofollow
