For new SE's out there, how do you bring traffic into your site?
I recently started my own search engine and my freind reccommended this site to help me kind of advertise and put the word out.

Lots of ways are there to increase traffic to a site. They are bookmarking, submitting articles, cr4eating forums and blogs

I think the easyest way is forum and blog posting. It's a basic SEO technique!

I think that good contents are important to increase traffic to a site.

make sure you site and all links are complete. Make sure you have no spelling mistakes and content is updated once in a while.
Post in blogs and forums to get some easy backlinks.
Tell everyone you know about your site.
Include your signature in your email.
Make a page on social networks (facebook, myspace, etc) about your site.
See what your competitors are doing and learn from them.
That's just some of what you should be doing.

Thanks for all your tips guys. I agree to all above post. Doing all SEO tips above will surely increases our sites PR not instantly but eventually we will see the fruits of our labor.
