A VERY REAL SEO PROBLEM

Hello thanks for the interest.

I am VERY new to forums so please excuse any error in terminology I use.

I have recently (3 months) built a website http://portsunlightorchestra.org.uk however there seems to be a LARGE error.

The Homepage is made up of 4 'pieces' .left, .main, .top and Index.html. The search engines have found the site OK however Google has left on its searches incorrect shortcuts i.e. .main.html and .cond neither of which goes to the Index link therefore unless the person puts in the ACTUAL address IN FULL they don't get anywhere.

I do hope I've made myself clear. We are a charity therefore can't afford to hand this problem to the 'big boys'.

Love to hear from you.

Thanks.

Pete

Try to Submit your site once in the search engines. Then wait for the result. And as it is said above submit the site map also..

Hi,

Thanks for the speedy replies.

Yes I certainly have submitted a Google sitemap and have submitted the website just once using Webposition. Should it have been submitted more in the past 3 months ???

Thanks again

A fresh new submission of sitemap and site should solve your problem or just contact google webmasters staff if they have any links there.

Also I would take out the screen resize script you have on there. There is no need to resize the user's screen and it's actually kind of annoying.
Hey,

How do frames affect to our sites as point of view sEO?

I tried to open your site, but it appears as :
Error 404: NOT FOUND
Your browser cannot find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in.

Submit a sitemap to Google. If you do not know how to build a sitemap, then you can take help from some free sitemap generator. Google recommends submitting sitemap as the best ever ways to index your website.

Try generating a sitemap file from this url: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com, copy this file to your web server's root folder, and then submit your sitemap using Google Webmaster and Bing Webmaster tools.
