hi guys,

i want discuss on SEO techniques which is avoid SEO whenever we optimize website then we should avoid those trick..

just like a:-

1. Keywords Stuffing
2. Cloaking
3. Doorway Pages
4. Link Farming
5. Page Hijacking
6. Mirror Websites
7. Buying Expired Domains
8. Selling Page Rank

i think you know this thing but i could not understand that what is this..

so anybody could you explain now..spacialy:- keywords stuffing, cloaking, and doorway pages

KeyWord Stuffing: contents that are written only for the sake of including keywords for search results placing. This makes the content more mechanical and does not convey the exact message to the readers, thereby decreasing the page rank of that website.

Cloaking:The method of presenting content to the search engines than is different to what the physical viewer sees, in order to improve a site's ranking.

Doorway Pages:A doorway page is a web page full of keyword-rich copy that doesn't deliver any useful information on it other than a link into the site and whose sole purpose is to be fed to the search engines

OMG i saw this same thread with same person who posted this thread. I already answered him and I told him its better to use wiki if he need some definition. lol...

Not so familiar with Page Hijacking. What does this blackhat method work?

These are all Black Hat Techniques and should really be avoided unless you are willing to take the risk of getting banned..

Some practices that need to be avoided in SEO are:

- Avoid bad neighborhood and don’t link to scam websites.
- Avoid using the automatic linking software as your website can be banned permanently.
- Don’t use the same titles, descriptions throughout your website.
- Avoid keywords stuffing. Some people use same keywords many times to increase the keywords density. It can penalize your website from Google permanently.
- Do not participate in the reciprocal links exchanges and links farms programs.
- Don’t use the tiny or invisible text. Some people do it in order to get high rank showing more text to the search engines.
- Don’t spread duplicate contents across several pages or several domains.
- Avoid building your website entirely in Flash.
- Don’t use irrelevant keywords in your web pages.
- Avoid doorway pages.
- Don’t check your ranking in Google and Yahoo every day.
- Don’t use black hat SEO techniques.
- Don’t hire incompetent SEO firms.
- Don’t over optimize your website.

all were familiar to me except one which is Page Hijacking , how does it works and its effect on the website?
