^I agree,. also as an SEO you must be updated to the new trend, techniques, and strategies and a lot of patience. submitting in a high PR submission site is just one of the elements in achieving a high PR or traffic. you must submit your site to it's proper category or has a good relevance. and good quality backlinks..

link building methods
Hi,
In my opinion i would say blog posting and social book markings are my success methods of link building.
Forum posting and articles witting are not much success for me.
thanks

I like the spelling of strategy in the title of the thread
Anyway, the best option is to use several different link strategies: blogs, forums, social bookmarks, directories...
I've been running through dozens of directories this last week. There are some awful ones trying to charge too much money. And the free ones take forever to post your link. There are some good ones out there but it takes some time.

Link Exchanges?
Any comments about link exchanges? I know everybody is after one-way links these days, and for good reason. However, I wonder if link exchanges still help at all for PR. I heard that a link in is worth more than a link out. If this is true, then over time link exchanges will help a bit (especially if you are linking with high PR sites).
I actually found one site that ends up sending me about 20 new visitors a day, and I send him only 2-3. I suppose he doesn't check. This was a very good link exchange.
