Yeah I agree to all above post. It is possible to get listed in google in a day. But getting rank in day I think it's possible if your is already index but if your site is new its impossible..

You must have old website and when google bot always within one day will list all your new pages

I do agree with you Suzzii! If you work for getting qulaity backlinks then it will surely take time.

This is the old trick. But it is better we are not telling the particular time frame. On next google crawly on the inbound link site is best suited phrase.

With SE behavior, mostly with Google, you can't ensure to be on top for long time and get what you said thousands of visitor. It takes time to earn popularity for your site. The best thing to do is to make a content really different and much interesting compare to those who on top.

Google takes some time for indexing and listing new sites... Also Google keep the soites for some probationery period.. in this time may be listed even in the first page of SERP.. this will not be perminent... forgetting a constent position on SERP... need to wait untile few months and need good SEO , at the same time should work with content

Blog and pinging should help on getting your site indexed faster to google.
