I found your post very useful. I agree, backlinks are very important in increasing a pages ranking on search engines. Another useful technique is to ask friends with websites to link to your site or contact sites directly and ask if you can trade links or get free links.

It takes a lot of time to increase the number of backlinks and all the effort does pay off in the long run.

Pretty basic info!

One thing we should remember about linkbuilding is the importance of quality in relevancy. It's pointless to build links that are irrelevant to the site. Avoid link farms and bad neighborhood to prevent being penalized.

Site submission on directories are mostly the tedious ones, as you have to find a lot of directories then posts your sites link to each on of them..Hiring one that would focus on directory submission is a good idea

Forum signatures, one of the helpful and common techniques.
-helpful in a way that by participating on forums you gain knowledge with the other experienced subscribers. The only thing you have to look out for is the "do follow" links so that viewers can link back to you site through your sig.

Great tips. I think it is important to increase the presence of your website on the World Wide Web, by getting backlinks. This will be also helpful in SEO of the website and increasing the page rank. Your link on other’s site will also fetch their traffic. Link-exchange will also be a good idea for widening the exposure of the website.

You can also make your forum signatures unique on each forums site. By targeting certain keywords / key phrases per forums site, you get to broaden the captured key word / key phrases.
