No follow links and link popularity

Hi,

I need to know your experience about combination of link popularity and no follow links.

for example if link popularity is high then there is many capabilities to top rank on google so do follow links are always increasing link popularity so my question is does no follow links are impact to increase link popularity ?

no nofollow links only for refferel traffic... it wont pass any link juice... will be ignored from SE bots

Nofollow links have no real SEO value. They are not counted by SEs as backlinks.

I agree with you. Nofollow links won't pass any link juice but they are useful for referral traffic.

A combination of both the dofollow s well as nofollow links is always a better option as Dofollow links will generate backlinks and traffic for your site, whereas nofollow links can be a source of traffic.

Yahoo answers is a very good example of a good nofollow source which drives good amount of traffic to your site.

Very confusy, how no-follow link can be a source of traffic. I always thought nofollow tag is made for the robots to disregard links with such tags. That's very important especially when the site has too many links on it. Search engines don't like when there is too many links on the same page, so the page ranking might be reduced because of it. That's why important to reduce the number of links on one page crawled by the robots. Correct me if I'm wrong

Google have recently changed their algo on nofollow links. You can refer to recent interview with Matt Cutts on Page Rank Sculpting.

No follow links are not helpless.. even though it is useful in driving traffic to a site. It is not mandatory that it will gather a good pr for site but the traffic will be boosted.

No follow link does not access by Google , because there are lot of website which is consist to no follow and do not familiar with Google. Google does not count them as a backlink.

Nofollow links are only use fro getting traffic to your site it is no useful for increasing popularity or PR for site.

No follow links help boost our sites traffic it does not transfer the link juice to our site. and No follow links is good for marketing..

I think both are useful dofollw and nofollw, If we can work only dofollw option it will be reason of site banned.

Do-follow blog links will help you in PR but no-follow can only help to spread a juicy links. They will not help you in PR but they can get you traffic.
