Digg is a very good social bookmarking site. Bookmarked pages from Digg get crawled by Google faster than other bookmarking sites. You can get tons of traffic from it.

It's a social bookmarking site. You don't just submit your links at all but rather participate on the community as well.

thanks for replies.

my real question is is there any effect to ranking or traffic of commenting on digg post ? anyway it will increase traffic and ranking by submitting bookmarking but again my question is about commenting on already submitted post.

thanks

from seo perspective, i am not sure if it will help you.......

but yeah if you are giving a good comment and the story for which you are commenting has a good ranking in SE and Digg front page......then you are going to get a good traffic from Digg.

It would get you clicks on the links but it being nofollow it won't help you in the search rankings on Google. It would on Yahoo though!
