I agree with you. I saw few sites with few knowledge in SEO yet keeps on giving wrong information about certain topics just to earn $.

SEO can be a good way to earn money because of the minimal cash investment. However, SEO takes a lot of time and effort for you to be able to see your progress and have your page indexed.

if we mix SEO and social media we can drive traffics while waiting for SEO to work. Also add PPC to make sure of the success.

True. But your focus on one subject will be parted into two different subjects which is the organic traffic and referring traffic.
