Hi,

The bounce rate suppose to be the hall ticket for improving page rank and hence domain authority. Let's understand it with two example:

Example 1 - If your visitor will not like your website/blog, then he will not visit other pages of yours and hence it will add up to increase the bounce rate of your site.

Example 2 - If your content is unique and informative, then for sure your visitor will move to other pages and hence you will get low bounce rate, and it means you will improve your search appearance quite easily.

It means lower bounce rate will help you to succeed. Hopefully you will try to lower down the bounce rate for your website.

Bounce rate is a percentage of visitors who came to your site and left your site from one page without interacting with other pages.Google analytics calculates these bounce rate. If site's bounce rate is high then it needs improvement.

Bounce rate -
(1) is the percentage of single-page visits (or web sessions).
(2) It is the number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any other pages.
