A 24/7 web presence has leveled the playing field for all companies involved in global production and services. Companies with corporate websites need SEO marketing in order to make product/service sales.

Being listed in the first or second pages of SE results is a must for businesses in order to have web visibility.

Companies can't make a product/service sale if they are not visible to consumers.

I agree for the majority of websites that having a well optimised web page is important however it isnt neccesary for all websites as there are alternatives like PPC advertising which can drive highly targeted traffic to commercial sites, for content seo is kin!
