Hello folks,
Could someone tell me some of the on-page SEO factors that should be considered when optimizing? I'm pretty well in on-page SEO but it would be interesting to know how do you start on-page and where do you end on-page seo? And, how much do you rate each on-page factor?
Thanks in advance...

Among the on page factors you can consider adding unique titles and description tags to your web pages which would be having very important roles to play as well as using some H tags.

Dear sam09, if I were you, I'd do the following...
place your keyword in Title
put your keyword in headings
use it on your website more often than your english teacher would like you to use it

put it in the description
There are other factors, but if you do this, you should be just fine.

Title tag is the most important onpage element of a site today. It should be relevant to your page content and target keywords.

These factors can also help in on-site optimization:
- Keyword proximity - the closer your keywords to each other, the better
- Keyword prominence - place important keyword on the very first lines of your pages, such as the first paragraphs of your article, in the title tag, in the meta tags
- Keyword frequency - the more times your keywords appears in your webpage, the more relevance it will give to your target keywords
- Keyword density - it is the ratio of your keywords in relation to the total number of words in your web page. The preferred rate varies from each search engine, but most prefers a rate of 2 to 8%

Since the other helpful members have shared the various factors, here are some that needs to be kept in mind to avoid:
* Hidden link or text: use of hidden or invisible text for getting listed on search engines by using a font color similar to the background color must be avoided which will affect your rankings.
* Cloaking mechanisms: never show up two different versions of your site, one for the search engines and a completely different page to real users. This will risk your site on being penalized
* Duplicate content to be avoided. There is no substitute for unique, original and useful content.
And as always, make sure that your html code is free of errors and warnings
