using SEO for BLOG

Hi everyone,
I have a blog sharing information about forex. Could someone give me advice to raise our traffic using SEO?

probably you need to start building quality incoming link
put as many contents as possible. and.. hmmm write articles.

I have two blogs. Both have the same content but different in language.
The english version is at
www.briansignal.blogspot.com
and the indonesian version is at
www.briansignal-indo.blogspot.com
And both are updated everyday (except on saturday and sunday)
And my problem is... the biggest traffic is still at the indonesian version. I'd like to publish my english version blog. And my friend suggested me to use SEO to optimize its traffic. Could you give me steps to use SEO? So my blogs could appear in some search engines such as google, yahoo, etc.
And I've told to fill some keywords to help surfer in finding my blog. Where can I find that keywords?

Backlink is king. You can also promote your blog on social network website...it may spread like fire!

Tag your content in bookmarking sites like technorati and del.icio.us.
Participate in forums and message boards using a signature that link to your site.
Submit to directories for links.
Have a good PR power and show your site to them
Post your site in chat without ever knowing that you are spamming it

Submit your blog to blog directories and try to get some back links from related blogs.

You can increase your blog traffic through continues blog submission, forum posting, social bookmarking, exchange it w/ related sites and update it at least every other day....

You can raise traffic through your blog sharing about forex but you need to promote it through forums, submit to social bookmarking and media site and blog comments.
