What is the difference between indexed and crawling?

Crawling means to visit the link by SEs and indexing means to put the page contents in DB (after analysis) and make them available in search results when a request is made.Crawling:When Google visits your website for tracking purposes. This process is done by Google’s Spider crawler.
Indexing; After crawling has been done, the results get put onto Google’s index (i.e. web search).

The main difference between crawling and indexing is that the crawling process is first completed and after that, the indexing process is done.

index means google come to your submitted link and after indexing google crawl your link that how link is unique and reliable.

Once Google has crawled the website, it will see how relevant it is and if it worth indexing so it shows up in the search.

Crawling suggests that the search engine crawl or fetch the net pages whereas compartmentalization suggests that search engine crawl the net pages, saved the data and it seem within the search.

Crawling means the spider visit the websites.
Indexing means the spider crawl the web pages, saved the information and it appears in the search engine.
Google first crawls and then indexes.
