Bounce rate is one of the most misunderstood metrics in Google Analytics. Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits (or web sessions). It is the number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any further

Bounce rate is the fraction of people who landed on a page and immediately left. Bounces are always one page sessions.

I agree with others who've replied with an exact answer.
Yes, a bounce rate (bounce) is a web metric in google analytics which is measured to calculate the percentage of website sessions from a visitor who left a single page without any navigation to other pages on the same website. Also, if a bounce rate/ percentage is high then you should take some immediate actions on your website design to engage the visitors and if a bounce rate in the range of 25 to 40 percent is excellent.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of people who visit a website to only view a page in your site - this is the page they enter into the site (called the landing page or landing page).
