Term or tail?

:?:

Long term keyword would mean keyword phrases that will always relate to your web site. You would have to know your long term goals, esp. any changes in content. Then the short term would be only the phrases that you are using now and that will be irrelevant later, after a change of content.

Long termkeywords are those three and four keyword phrases which are very, very specific to whatever you are selling. You see, whenever a customer uses a highly specific search phrase, they tend to be looking for exactly what they are actually going to buy. Short tail keywords are search phrases with only one or words.

Long tail keywords are keywords or key phrases that are more specific – and usually longer – than more commonly searched for keywords. Long tail keywords get less search traffic, but will usually have a higher conversion value, as they are more specific.
