Luka Modric has spoken about how demanding it is to play for Real Madrid and about the thai sbo need to perform excellently in every match. The midfielder explained that anyone who doesn't meet the high standards has to leave the club."At Real Madrid you have to perform to a high level in every match because if not then it's difficult to stay there," he said in an interview with SVT Sport. He went on to talk about Real Madrid's Champions League success and about the mission to achieve a third title in a row."We were the first team to defend this title and that was something really amazing," he said."We have beaten teams who were favourites."We feel good and we are playing well in the Champions League."His future also came up and he was asked if he'd consider making a move to the MLS in the future, like Zlatan Ibrahimovic has done. "You never know what can happen," he replied."I still have two more years on my contract at Real Madrid and I am happy and have always said that I'd like to finish my career in Madrid if it's possible."But if not, then maybe one day I can see myself there [in the MLS]."I think little by thai sbo little, [rather than long-term]."More important for Modric, at least right now, is the upcoming World Cup, and he also previewed the tournament in Russia."We have a team with a lot of talent," he said of Croatia and their chances."For a country so small it is good to have so many sportspeople with such talent across lots of sports. "It is an honour to be the captain of my thai sbo country."Croatia find themselves in a group with Argentina, Iceland and Nigeria.
