-Article submission
-Blog commenting

Yes it does to some extent, although they all are no follow links, but if you comment on a website which is having high DA, then it can be usable. But to get good amount of benefit, you need comment daily on one and another blog.

There is nothing like easiest or hardest.
Just do it in right manner and you will achieve what you desire.
