Hi ,

Generally there is no such rigid limit but it is recommeded that after every 250 to 300 words there should be a link. The link in the site gives the clear understanding of your site to google . There are basically two types of link can be inserted in a blog Do-follow and no follow, as the google's guide line the ratio between do-follow and nn-follow is 80:20 .

There is no such kind of limitations but you have to control the blog post external links with minimum 5. Many Guest Bloggers were pointing more than 5 links to their website. It will harm both the host and the site that pointed too. So try to decrease the number of external links in a post.
