Great recap! I still see this misconception frequently and the facts have been available for years. The point needs to be hammered home so people stop believing nonsense.

I don't see this being a problem at all.

I think its not, it would matter on the target market. If you want to target a certain place you should host your site in the place you are targeting. And also in linking, look at the IP range.

Really, I am surprised. I dint knew that IP has some relation with SEO. Though Google may note that all promotions are coming from same IP and this thing can irritate Google but still.... I dont think its a big factor

IP address will not affect SERP unless you are spamming from it.

IP address can only affect your site if it is associated with a bad neighborhood. Make sure you only purchase a domain from a reputable provider.

Yes, your website should be hosted from a trusted provider. The IP address is also a factor for SEO.

IP addresses are one of the most critical resources that need to be managed in any network. Every networked application and device -- from e-mail and Web connectivity to file storage and networked printers -- depends on IP and requires address assignment. With static IP addresses, your computer knows who to contact to connect to the internet. It first connects to your local internet service provider's server. Then, it sends a message along to whatever website it wants to talk to and gets a response. Most home computers have dynamic IP addresses - they change every so often. If you have a dial up modem, your address could change every time you dial up. If you have a broadband connection, your address changes every day or so.

It is indeed a thing to considered on your website. What if you are sharing an IP with a bad neighborhood sites?

It doesn't matter whether you're on a dedicated server or not but it matters your server provider company. Your host company should be powerful and great.
