Domain Frames Question

Hi

Hopefully someone can help with this :)

I have a couple of websites that I have domain names for, when I go to the sites using the domain name and try to view the source code I don't see it. All I see is a few lines of code that has been put in by the company where my domain resides, this encloses my site in a kind of frame. There are ways that I can view my code (view frame source in Opera) (right click page and view source in IE). But as I said, from the view-source menu I just see frame code.

Will this effect search engine listings etc?

Or is there anyway to get rid of the silly frame code that they use ?

TIA

GG

Hi

thanks for ur reply.

Try www.dumog.co.uk

if u click on view/source from the top menu you will see the frame code, right click anywhere on the site and view source and u can see the actual site code.

The domain is through 1&1 .. Like u said, the frame code appears to come from the actual forwarding.

Since I first posted I have found what maybe a kind of solution, if I put in the code below it gets rid of the frame code but puts the actual LONG url in where the site is actually based. Will this code work regarding search engine rankings? (the code isint on the actual site yet but has been tested)

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JAVASCRIPT TYPE="TEXT/JAVASCRIPT">
<!-- Hide script from old browsers

if (top.location != self.location) {
top.location = self.location
}
// End hiding script from old browsers -->
</SCRIPT>

Cheers
