keyword (or) keywords?

Hi,

I am having some doubts in how search engines treat singular and plural in keywords. for example: *** supplier, ***suppliers, ***shopping site, ***shopping sites, provider, providers. Do we need to take care of both these words? How google treat these words and how it weighs the importance? Any suggestion will help me improve in optimizing my sites.

It's been my experience that you are wise to use both singular and plural in your first 200 words or so to be on the safe side. However, I'm not sure it matters all that much.

I do have a lot of hits under "copywriter" but also a lot under "copywriters" so people do search both ways.

I think there is no need to add plural or singular keyword, use one of them and it will be ok, like my site "cas1n0" and "casin0s" are the same for search engines

NO NO NO.

Use the plural. If youre selling widgets, and you have the word widgets on your site a lot, even people that search for widget find your site on the results.

Google knows how you like it.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your valuable response. Apart from
1) Getting backlinks for both singular and plural
2) Having the flow of both singular and keyword in content

Do we need any thing to do special? (especially in Title tag)

Is it enough to have plural in TITLE( Will it vote for Singular)?

How GOOGLE treats singular and plural?

Thansk "real-estate".

That article doesn't explore more about my questions. I just want to make this post as a SEO's Discussion. The main idea is to share all our experiences for a particular problem. Practical experience is better than all. All members know basic seo techniques. But this is just to explore what exactly is happening behind search engines?
