Are blogs good for SEO?

i have always heard blogs were great for seo. i have a blog on blogger for awhile, i'm talking months and i have not saw it in any search engines links. do i have something turned off on my blog maybe.
i have posted on other blogs and have them show up.

yeah but i just wanted to know do they get crawled just like anything else. i've got links on it too. it's kinda strange. it should have been pivked up.

Yes blog are good for seo. Submit it to blog directories and to social bookmarking site. Submitting of blog to social bookmarking will increased traffic for the site.

blogs most definately help. You need to make sure and post good content to them however. Also make sure to link exchange within your blog. If you have good content and can get it out there, people will link to your blog for information.

Get 100 "hot" BLOGs and you have the chance to get 100 backlinks. You need much more time to write on BLOG.
