What is E-Mail Marketing and how does it work?

It work by sending emails to people or target customers...just like the spam mail we get in our emails :

Hi,

Here i understood what is email marketing but if spam mails are coming to my mail because of some companies email marketing procedure, then how does it work? Because i never look into spam mails, just delete them without reading. I think most of the internet users also are doing like me, then does email marketing give positive results?

Yes, with email marketing you can do nothing because if you will send mail in bulk once then many email provider will note you like spammer and your all email will be in spam folder and i dont think any one check spam folder carefully.

Yes, it seems that email marketing is useful but i haven't tried yet. Would like to use it.

Email marketing pertains to the use of e-mail in marketing. In this method, messages/ads are sent to potential customers via email.

In my opinion E-Mail Marketing can increase the potential of sale because of if you already have a potential market and potential leads. It will work for you. In addition to this it can generate traffic.
