Yes, your Username should be according to your niche. This will help the visitors to find it easily what are you upto. On twitter you get followers who have same kind of interest as you, so it is important to let people know what you deal with. As in i am related affiliate marketing in forex so my twitter username will be something like suzzii_forex.

This gives a straight message that i am related to forex and people with same interest will certainly have a look at my account.

Is twitter really worth the time and effort in terms of revenue earnt from customers gained directly through twitter?

The key here is to get along with people you follow and follow you are all in the same interest with you, then share of course very interesting topics that exist in your site.

Nowadays people are using twitter for promoting their business or what they have found that twitter is really worth to do so.
