Hi, i have a website which recently been listed in GOOGLE . as my experience i can say without back links and anchor text you can't get your website in 1st page on google... its really essential .

Backlinks is must necessary for batter ranking in Google. Google give more important to thous site who have collected more links form others related sites.

Quality link building is always helpful for our site

yes it is important to create backlinks for internal pages as wel, this increases the authority of those internal pages and as per vary of the anchor text is concern, i dont think so, we are targeting that keyword to tell the Google that we are targeting it, so dont think that Google Algo find it some unusual thing..

Quality backlinks is one of the most important factor in SEO. It is not enough just to have a lot of backlinks, it is the quality backlinks along with the quantity that help you in rank better in search engine.

Building links with anchor text of your targeted keywords is really important in improving your rankings. Although, even if you don't use your anchor txt it's also counts! Like Angela's packets!

Of course, ideally the links should come from subject-related Websites but don't forget that they should rank higher than your own Site....
