Hi, tell me how many target keywords should a site have

I don't usually focus on how many or where/ how i m going to target my kws especially in my content/article because i might don't deliver the main topic or subject of it because you emphasizes more you know. i believe it would be better if it is natural.

There's no hard and fast rule as per how many keyword to target per page or site, if you ask me, I focus on 2 main keywords (long tailed), and 3 support keywords (short or long tailed) per page

so far so good more power!

If you want to have effective page optimization you should search for good and relevant keywords because this will also help you deliver traffic towards your site.

it depends, but for the start you can focus on 5 - 10 kws..

There is no fix ratio to choose the number of keywords, as per my knowledge it would be good to choose the less number of keywords to be targeted as it will be easy to get ranked those. Per page you should atleast target 2 to 3 keywords. More keywords means more competition, more hard work and more time to optimize.

3-5 keywords per page is preferable but having many keywords doesn't really matter as long as you have balance between keyword relevance, volume, density and appropriate title tag with the recommended characters
