Hello
I have a question about backlinks. If I add my site to the following sites
Facebook
Twitter
Delicious
StumbleUpon
Digg
does it means I will get 5 backlinks?

It depends on what kind of Link building strategy did you use sometimes on each site you can get instant backlinks but there are also time that you cannot get any one.

It is on how you add link to them, usually you can't get exact/direct link.

mostly you can get back links from do-follow social bookmarking sites, stumbleupon.com seems to be a do-follow bookmarking site.

These social networking sites are only to generate viral traffic and the links present there will be nofollow..and hence will not be counted as backlink..although, sometimes in yahoo backlink finder one can find nofollow links as well as backlinks but not in the case of google..

Most of social networking sites are no follow so we can use them for to get traffic not for backlinks.Some of them are do follow and they provide us backlinks as well as traffic.

No you will not get the backlinks unless page is cached. And these sites are more used to get traffic .

There are so many sites which is based on site. These social networking sites are only to generate viral traffic and the links present there will be no follow and hence will not be counted as back link..although, sometimes in yahoo back link finder.
