1. Make sure your title include you main keyword.
2. Add your main keyword and keyword variations throughout your content... about once every 35 words or so. (Do not stuff keywords... Google hates it)
3. Add alt image text to your images (Don't keyword stuff here either)

:)

Start when thinking about on-page optimization is with site URLs and the whole structure of your web site related information. The reason we want to start here is because the URL is one of the best and most visible aspects of a web site.

Here are some ideas:
• Use third-party tools to research which “keywords” your potential customers are using.
• Once you have determined which keywords best represent your web site, target these keywords on your web pages.
• There are four core areas where you should ensure you are using your targeted keywords.
o The <TITLE> tag of each page.
o The name of the page file. You should pay attention to the naming of any new pages.
o Each page should have an <H1> heading to help understand the main focus of the page. It should be short and include the keywords you’ve identified.

i agree to the first reply "There is no proper method to start on page optimization."

but for me its pretty convenient to start with search engine directory submissions first since its the most repetitive.

In on-page optimization, you should choose the right keywords to target for your site, make a unique, fresh, and interesting content for your site and for each of your sub-pages, and the meta tags and title of your site. Just make sure that you target and use the right keywords for your site and for each of sub-pages.
