Who to start On-Page Optimization?

I am doing off-page. I do not have the knowledge about on-page optimization. How to start On-Page Optimization? Guide me on this subject.

First research on keywords, than add them on tittle tags and meta description, create robot files, create sitemap, add HI, H2 tags. I think this will work for you.
