SEO is about convincing Google and other search engines that your website is relevant to particular keywords.PPC is when you pay to be listed among the first results for certain keyword.PPC is paid advertising. SEO is free of cost.If we do some SEO work in a website will be listed in natural search engine results. But PPC the search engine result will be listed in sponsored search engine. If we do PPC a fee is charged for every click of each link.

PPC could also be just a part of SEO.

SEO is very broad, you could do link building through PPC, while link building is also a part of SEO.

Pay-Per-Click Marketing is more like traditional advertising – you pay to be shown in the search engine listings for specific keyword phrases. But unlike traditional media, you don't pay for impressions, you only pay when someone actually clicks on your ad – hence the term "pay-per-click." When you make a 'keyword buy', your listings are shown in the blue area below. These are also known as the paid listings or sponsored links, but are referred to in the SEM industry as pay-per-click (PPC) ads.
SEOis more like public relations. You cannot buy 'publicity' for your site, you have to work for it by undertaking specific techniques and strategies. Generally, these activities include making changes to your website to included targeted keyword phrases and increasing the quality and number of incoming links to your website.

The most obvious difference is the price that comes with these two techniques. Click the PPC sends your way you are paying for, while SEO is free for the clicking. SEO for your most lucrative search terms are getting on top of the tree requires hard work. The same search terms for PPC getting on top of the tree need money (so much competition for that particular search term is up) and work. Both PPC and SEO keywords research work hard so you need to buy the search term (PPC) for the words to know and Optimization (SEO). Search term or group (PPC) and the various HTML per various creative your (SEO) coding for each page of the site needs both to have written to entice customers. SEO Title tags added complexity that in mind as well as search engines should be written with.

SEO and PPC are complementary strategies. Both will be more effective if used together instead of using one or the other in isolation. The main difference in both of them is in pricing, the clicks from SEO are free whereas for PPC you have to pay to google for each click.
