It is best to position your service or products in short descriptive phrases (60 characters is recommended) in the title tag of your company / domain name. This is because most Internet users search for specific products or services, not company names. But if you strongly believe that placing your business name in your title tag, he places at the end of this tag.
1. Important keywords must appear in the title tag
2. Title tags should not exceed the length of 60 characters and must have only 7 to 10 words
3. It should be easily read by the web-surfer (user- friendly)
4. Stop words must be used sparingly and avoid dead weight words altogether if possible
5. Keywords must be as close together as possible (keyword proximity)
6. Put the keywords as close to the title tag's beginning as possible
7. Proper word order of the title tag must be maintained
8.Repeating the keyword in the title tag should be very limited

Re: tag optimisation
Nice peace of advise and I mean it. These are exactly the principles anyone should follow. I would add only that it is good to have the keywords and phrases which appear in the Title tag in the content of the page.

Re: tag optimisation
Title tag is much necessary for a website to project itself both to the visitors and Search Engine bots. So, it is better to have a much brief introduction about your company or product or services on the title tag. Which will be useful for both SERP ranking and also for visitors to get a brief about your website and your services.
