As usual, you have to update your site regular as well as you have to make sure that you are getting regular backlinks - Quality & Relevant links to your site. Those will really help you to get top ranking for the keyword searches in Google or other search engines.

I agree with you. Yes you have to change content of your website and than you have to list your services in a proper way with the latest methods of SEO and more traffic increasing techniques.

For this purpose, you site content must always be updated and in this case your ranking can be increased too..

You need to build back links with anchor text.
