Is there any difference in doing SEO for site or blog. As for blog we can do RSS submission, blog direct. submission which are not for site. So please tell me What SEO steps should we follow to optimize a website? Awaiting for your replies. Thanks.

SEO is based on its' two main techniques or steps. First on page and the second one off page. I think you can do lots of D.S., S.B., article - press release submission, signature in forum including blogging. After these process you can surely get effect or a good result.

Typically, a website is search engine optimized to a keyword strategy. Once you optimize your website, it’s done. In most cases, there’s no more work needed for a year or so at least. Blogs however, work your keyword strategy with every piece of content you publish. All the fresh content you publish keeps getting you better results in search engines. Each time you add a new post you add metadata – that gives you new inroads into long tail search engine opportunities.

I think there are some factors that are the same in optimizing a blog and a website. Both are having keywords that you are targeting and a fresh content for your reader. And of course, off optimization to promote your site or blog is just the same, the only difference is what viewers you are targeting, and the approach you are going to do to promote your site.

I think they're almost the same. You can use the same methods for your site and for your blog. The only difference is blog and website are totally different from each other.

Blog is just a kind of site. Nowadays, you can even make an rss version for ordinary sites.
