It rarely happens since this past years, probably Google aiming to let people focus more on serp instead of PR.

haha ! Who says that Google would update their PR for certain months? No one really know what Google plans. I think that is one of the main reason why they have this super secret algorithm of theirs.

Yes, I agree with you. Search engine ranking is important for sites compare to PR.

Do Google update monthly?

We do. And as far as we know Google updates their PR every year, twice. (though there are not exact date yet)

Google recently update page rank of every website. I think usually it happen after 6 month so i think will happen coming six months...

I think the last one happened at the end of July. They usually happen every 3 months, so maybe end of October, or early November? Although you cant really predict when PR updates will happen. They are supposed to be every 3 months or so, but there were 3 in the span of about 1 month recently

Google New update for PR for month Aug-2011...

As my 8 month carrier of SEO i mark that Google update PR every six month.
