I have to start seo on a new website and to promote it single handedly how to start and where to start can you suggest me the steps one by one ?

First check whether the on page coding of that website like title tag, Meta tag and so on. After that concentrate on off page optimization.

Ready up your site first for indexing, start with your on-page optimization so SE's will get good information about your site.

Start by promoting your website on other forums through signatures and by getting it listed in Website Directories to get it listed and indexed on Google as soon as possible.
