Hi friends,
I often read about the advantages of SEO but every thing is two aspect one is positive and other is negative so a question comes in my mind. Is that any disadvantage abut SEO? and then I was trying to search about it, I got this informatin about SEO disadvantages......

1. Search Engine Index:
As we know that in Search Engine there are 8 billions indexed pages!! its too much competitive to bit this competitions.
2. Lack of Control :
After reading above point it seems that seo is lack of control and its too hard to be included top 10 results.
3. Long term and Stedy process:
Seo is ongoing process and takes too much time for result and after our hard work there is no guarantee for improving our visibility in search engine.
4. Search Engine is not Human:
yehh! its right Search Engine is not a human and some time its happened that duplicate contains promoted with spamming way has got top ranking in search engine while original contains has not got any improvement in its visibility...!
5. High Skilled:
Its necessary to have high technological skill for SEO and have knowledge about seo and search engine strategy

I would like to add something in #3 statement.

Seo is ongoing process and takes too much time for result, that's very true.
So, you need to work consistently, if you stop then only there is no guarantee.

Some of those are truth but not directly disadvantage. If SEO is done incorrectly, the result could be serious especially in gaining and maintaining top serp result, competition is always there plus fast SE algorithm change so continuous optimizing is essential.

Yes SEO needs time, effort and patience totally it needs hardwork to get a high PR.

I agree with you. Seo need have time to creat backlink.

Following are the disadvantages of SEo
1)Firstly it increases the spam
2)A second major disadvantage is algorithm changes. Google, Yahoo and Bing are private companies. They can change how they rank sites on a whim and often do. There is no way to plan for this.You could be number 1 for an important keyword one day and then be in position 90 the next day.
3)This is time consuming. It takes a long time before you see your standing improve a notch. Sometimes you have to wait for months or even a year to be in the spotligh

Well, the positive and negative points always come together. I know SEO has really the slow process. I also accept that this method has no gaurantee but my friend, it's authentically promising for the business promotion. We can easily generate huge traffic and become popular over the Internet with the help of quality SEO techniques.
