About blog writing and SERPs

Hi folks,
I have a site that provides information about residential apartments in my locality. My main problem is that I am unable to optimize for the local apartment names, which hardly have any competition. A couple of months ago, I had created close to 250 pages for the list of apartments linking to these pages led my site to the top 10 position. But most of these pages have since disappeared from Google. I noticed that my competitors have been blogging about the less competitive names and links.
How do I get those pages to reappear in the index?
Thanks a lot.
