Maybe you'll notice a page redirection.. i think that's how website's get their fake PRs. This is a black hat method that you will want to avoid like the plague.

I have seen few sites with fake page rank!
It is not hard to check! Just try to find out if that site is rich content and has quality back link or not!

Always concentrate on the page where your link is placed rather than home page PR.

yes i like the tool for checking the page ranks.but i also want to know about the black hat system. :)

you can try using some google tools for PR, so that you can determine if the PR is real or not....
