Was infact referring to the companies starting when domain names as well as company names were decided in unison

Perhaps the choice of company names are equally influenced by their possible domain name appearance (especially in web related businesses) - because of this essential era where virtual addresses and brick and mortar are almost expected for ambitious firms

 WEBability of the Name

Beginning to believe that in this era new nemes are chosen for both the pronounication, Images and it's WEBabiltiy

Choosing a name for a SPAM site is pretty damn hard now as everything you think of seems to be used. I would sell my hubby for sex.com lol :)

I feel that domain names do have a personality to them. It comes down to branding and all that stuff. Most of the time if you start adding hyphens - or numbers #'s to a domain name it really ruins it in my opinion.

If you have to choose between 3 websites
Widgets . c o m
wid2-get-s.com
w-i-d-g-e-t-s.com,

99% of the time I would choose the first name

IT just feels more professional to me and shows a bit of class. A Lot of domain names out there today are just too spammy for me .

I am surprised by the companies that advertise on TV with horrible domains. Or the companies who sell products & have bad domains on their products.

You'd think that they would invest a little bit of money into a good name.

Credibility is what it all boils down to .
