If there is no traffic, or high spot in Goo, why do buyers think older domains are worth more?

Thanks

Because the older domains have history. And some of them might be web addresses that consist of popular words and/or phrases.

Aside from the history attached to it, many domain buyers often think that older domains already have recalled on people. This of course is subject to the actual performance of the domain during its life span.
