Yea suitable names have impact in GOOGLE ranking also. better to use hypen if you use two words in between

If you want to optimize for MSN, keywords in the domain is important.

Using your keywords in the URL won't mean you'll achieve better google ranking. It always boils down to good onpage and offpage strategies. If you build quality links for your site, it'll rank regardless of its domain name.
