What are the things that you've done for your site?
I suggest you to first do ON-PAGE optimization. This includes proper use and placement of keywords in your meta tags (title, description and keywords).
Then, do OFF-PAGE optimization to build quality backlinks. It includes:
Web Directory Submission
Article Submission
Forum Posting (through signature)
Social Bookmarkings
Press Release Submission
and many more...
By the way, if your site was newly created... don't be to eager to be indexed by search engines because it will take time.
