Less competitive keywords
I would like to get my website off on the right track. How do I know if I am using less competitive keywords. Is there a line for how many daily searches the keyword gets?

Where is the cutoff line for less competitive keywords
If I check User keywords suggestion tools like:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal - suggested
http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/
http://www.keyworddiscovery.com/search.html
http://www.selfseo.com/keyword_suggestion_tool.php
& the word gets 200 searches per day. Is that to strong of a word for a new site just starting out, or should I look for keyword with 50 searches a day?

Hello my friend,
I am agree with SEO answer, he or she can suggest the good links for keyword research. These links will definitely help you to analyze the most competitive and less competitive keywords. I have to use these site links when I want to research the keywords, so my friend I also suggest these links:

200 searches a day? Well I don't think that's too bad to target. How about getting some kws research that returns about a 1k up searches a month.SEO Answers wrote:& the word gets 200 searches per day. Sadly, Google isn't releasing any new API for use of DP Keyword Tool. Many positive reviews about it.shakir wrote:wordtracker and also digitelpoint keyword suggestion tool.

Anyone knows where we could get Google API now?

I would suggest using some caution in terms of the accuracy of the estimated traffic that Google shows. Those numbers are generated from their PPC network which is different from their search network. Those numbers also includes search partners like AOL. I would use them as a rough estimate of traffic.
