hello !!!
I thinks its depends up on the search engine results and the searching keywords that you are getting the different results.normally it does not happens.
But if you need to get research on the keywords then you can use Google ad word tool.
Thanks

These are two different tools, that's why they give out different results. I only use Google Trends. It's helpful!

I have used both tools: Google Trends and Google Insights. In my case I managed to find some correspondence. But for me trends is better.

I use Google trends and wordtracker for keyword research. I did not use Google insight, so no idea about it. I am satisfied with Google trends result and it is better for me.

It's quite difficult to answer your question. I generally use Google trends. It's a wonderful tool to analyze how often a particular search term has been used in relative to total search volume from across various regions of the world. This is quite useful I think. But for Google insights I don't have proper idea.

Try wordtracker, and compare. See which results are similar.

I never tried using Google trends, But Google insight is a good tools that analyze the keyword competition. And it provides a visual representation of regional interest on a map.
