Hi,
there are so many things in SEO off page that you should to get higher ranking in Google. Need to work on articles, blog commenting, blog posting, forums, press release, guest positing that will help to improve your website performance.

All are effective techniques but. we have to note every time that we have to build natural links and going with the quality links will be very effective way to rank better. as we all know some effective and best techniques
1.Article posting.
2.Blogging.
3.Forum posting.

Now according to latest Hummingbird update from Google we have to give more importance to quality of content rather than quantity which should be fresh and unique will obviously helps to build quality backlinks for our site.
